"Racist Trump Against the 313," Election's Only Hip Hop Video Ad, Passes 1 Million Views

Two weeks after its release, the presidential election’s only hip hop political music video ad, by the Detroit Area Artists and Musicians Against Trump, titled, Racist Trump Against the 313, has already been viewed more than 1.2 million times online.

On YouTube, where the video is being run as an ad, it has been watched by more than 250,000 Michiganders, with most of those views coming from Wayne County.

The 90-second video has gone viral on Twitter (920,000 views) and been watched by more than 250,000 Michiganders over YouTube, most of them in the Detroit area. It exposes how Trump would have won the 2020 election had he succeeded in racist lawsuits that would have thrown away all the votes of the four swing state cities with the largest Black populations: Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Milwaukee.

The video opens with the lyrics: “From the KKK,  up to today, racists have tried to steal Black votes away. The evidence is clear, for all to see: Trump’s biggest black vote attack in history!”

DETAMAT Spokesman H. Daniel Mujahid commented  “Since the release of our video, Trump and MAGA have doubled down on their racist messages and anti-democratic plans. We stand united with the Latinos, Arab Americans and women as well as African Americans, all fighting for dignity and their fair share of the American Dream.  MAGA’s  outrageous new statements about Latinos is further proof of the message contained in this song.”

The video was produced and financed by Progressive Source PAC as part of the PAC’s Stop Trump Dictatorship Project. The PAC’s goal is to use YouTube to reach undecided young voters tuned out of TV & radio. It is the first PAC to offer full transparency and zero overhead or commissions, and is committed to spending every dollar donated to running the racist Trump ad, as well as three other opinion shifting videos, in swing states through election day. Every $50 donated will buy over 2,000 views in seven swing states.

“This video uses the R-word; Trump is the most unrestrained racist to run for President in 50 years,” said Jonathan Greenberg, the PAC’s founder, who has reported on Trump longer than any journalist. “Harris needs high turnout to win this, and music is an important way to break through the clutter of political ads.”

Trump conned Greenberg into putting him on the Forbes 400 in 1982, a scam which included Trump pretending to be the non-existent “John Barron.” Greenberg has written some of the most widely read exposes of Trump’s lies to appear in the Washington Post since his presidency.
